Retail Store Manager

General Summary: The manager is responsible for the management of all retail store operations, motivating the store team to meet Lebo’s customer service requirements and make sales goals, and ensures that the store and team members consistently execute all operational functions according to Lebo’s company standards.

Position Requirements: Experience in western boots or western wear, tack, dance, or family shoes preferred.High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of experience.

Associates degree preferred.Familiarity or experience with a retail sales environment, and merchandising programs and procedures.Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar retail management position.Strong interpersonal and public relation skills.Strong sales abilities.Excellent customer service skills.Good organizational skills and problem-solving skills.Excellent supervisory and leadership abilities.Ability to lift 65 lbs and climb ladders.

Essential Functions: Achieve and exceed all financial sales goals and plans established for the store.Build and develop a team of qualified assistant store managers and sales assocaites who can achieve established goals and objectives.

Recruit, train, and develop associates to excel in all of their required job duties.Direct, guide, and fairly evaluate 8-25 team members.Establish, model, and reinforce Lebo’s outstanding customer service and hand-fitting repuations.Ensure all company policies are followed and executed.Embrace diversity and foster a positive work and shopping environment to promote sales and the success of Lebo’s.Manage expenses within a given budget.Build schedules to meet the needs of business and meet payroll guidelines.Maintain effective communication by partnering with district manager and home office.Implement practices that support the growth of the company, individuals within the company, and the store team.Effectively communicate and execute the vision of the company, its values and expectations.Execute and maintain operational, promotional, and visual merchandising standards and initiatives.Execute all training programs for operational procedures, required duties, and product knowledge.Implements any new procedures or policies as directed by district manager in timely manner.
