Restaurant Manager

Core Responsibilities: Run shifts effectively to ensure products, guest service, and restaurant cleanliness meet quality standards. Consistently ensure guests receive only quality products within service delivery goals. Ensure food safety requirements are constantly monitored and adhered to. Demonstrate proficiency on all restaurant positions. Actively monitor and coach team members on food quality, food safety practices, hazard communication program, workplace safety and proper personal hygiene. Develop and sustain a high performing team. Demonstrate and maintain a positive attitude among team members. Ensure efficiency with shift deployments. Demonstrate ability to monitor and adjust labor needs as necessary. Responsible for daily cash management and daily performance reporting. Additional Responsibilities: Assure opening and/or closing procedures are conducted according to expectations. Cross-training and continuing development of Team Members. Personnel management, including recruitment, selection, hiring, on-boarding, and disciplinary actions. Daily/weekly/monthly inventory management. Ensure equipment is effectively maintained and repaired. Ensure shelf life, rotation of inventory and tempering sheet is maintained. Ensure the accurate completion of the Quality Control/Safe Food Checklist and First In-First Out product rotation. Qualifications: College graduate with a degree in restaurant management or equivalent experience. Minimum of one year experience in a supervisory position. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong decision making skills. Ability to build relationships and foster a positive and friendly environment. Demonstrate an energetic, positive attitude that is contagious. Certified from a national food safety program. Physical Abilities: Stand and walk constantly Sit occasionally Reach, bend and clean surfaces regularly Work frequently in hot, cold and damp environments Lift / carry 20 lbs or less Constantly Lift / carry 21-50 lbs Frequently Lift / carry 51-100 lbs Occasionally
