CDL Class A Driver

Job Description:Cregger Company Greensboro is seeking an experienced professionalCDL ClassAdelivery driver who prides themself on high standards of quality, safety, and customer service to join our team. The CDL Driver will safely drive a company commercial vehicle26 box truck or flatbedto deliver product to customers either on job sites or at warehouselocations andassist in unloading product to render customer service to Cregger Company store locations and customers. The drivers schedule will consist of road, solo, same day runs five times a week. Weekly schedule begins Monday for consecutive 5 days. No set routes but home everyday.

Job Duties:

• Ensures delivery vehicles and equipment is operated safely and efficiently
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and follows DOT regulations and company safety policies
• Responsible for accurate material handling practices to ensure customer satisfaction
• Assist in day to day functions of warehouse execution as needed
• Operate in a safe manner and maintain a safe work environment
• Deliver materials to customer specified location
• Unload materials solo or assisted using material handling tools provided

Job Requirements:

• Class A CDL
• Must be 21 or older
• Must have and maintain a valid class A commercial license
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs., frequently perform heavy pushing/pulling of product
• Must meet the defined MVR standards at all times to remain qualified to drive company commercial motor vehicle
• Loading and Unloading experience preferred
• Fork lift experience preferred
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical and a controlled substance test in accordance with FMCSR
