Manufacturing Training Coordinator American & Efird (A&E), a global provider of advanced, high quality products and mission critical textile solutions, is seeking a high energy, results driven Manufacturing Training Coordinator to join our Human Resources Team.

This is a key position that contribute to the achievement of the facility’s and company’s objectives supporting and implementing new hire onboarding and training, multi-skill training and continuous learning and development.

This role is responsible for supporting company initiatives in the areas of safety, employee engagement and retention, and continuous improvement.This position is responsible for (This is not a complete job description):
· introducing new employees to their job function(s), department and co-workers
· ensuring all training is accomplished in their department for the job function(s) they are responsible for including new hire onboarding as well as ongoing or recurring training required of employees in their department
· providing new hires with a one-on-one learning experience
· explaining all responsibilities and procedures and how their job contributes to the overall process/outcome
· participating in safety training for new and current employees related to safe work practices
· monitoring and assessing employees progress during designated onboarding period
· upon successful completion of onboarding, facilitate incorporation of new employee into work team/department and follow-up frequently to ensure things continue to go well throughout their first year
· may provide remedial and supplemental training to employees to assist them in learning proper job function(s), safe work habits or cross training
· reviewing Dedicated Plant Trainer evaluation/feedback forms from new hires with Training Coordinator on a monthly basis, determines areas of opportunity and action plans to continuously improve training skills
· supporting and administering company policies and procedures consistently
· ensuring good housekeeping in all areas of the facility including manufacturing, distribution, and common areas
· meeting or exceeding all performance and productivity standards
· promoting a safe and healthy work environment on all company property to achieve the best working conditions for all employees and visitors
· ensuring compliance with all regulatory and company policies and procedures
· performing other assignments as requested or as business needs require This position requires:
· high school diploma or GED or equivalent experience
· bi-lingual is a plus
· must have a minimum of 1-year training experience in a textile environment
· knowledge of computer software including MicroSoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
· working 40+ hours per week, flexible to support multiple shift operations
· the ability to manage multiple task and provide expected results
· maintaining regular and predictable attendance
· communicating effectively with employees at all levels of the organization
· working cooperatively, courteously, and respectfully with all team members, vendors, and visitors
· following verbal and written instructions
· complying with company processes and procedures
