Reporting to the Project Operations Manager, you will support projects within the factory from purchase order to shipment and assist the commercial and technical communication to the field project teams and customers.Your responsibilitiesEngage with the proposal team to review orders from a technical and commercial standpoint during order entryEnsure customer requirements are in line with ABB contractual obligationsConducts analysis of plan versus actual project performance under the supervision of the Project Manager or Project Planning & Controls ManagerPrepares materials and assists in project reviews.

Update’s project (cost) adjustments, approved by the Project Manager and Controller, in SAP or other Project Controls systemsMonitors, controls, and releases requests for invoicing, based on instructions from the Project ManagerEffectively communicates appropriate information to mostly internal project stakeholdersControl’s documentation accuracy and consistency based on tasks assigned by Project Manager or Project Documentation Specialist and procedures agreed with the customerYour backgroundAssociate degree in engineering, electronics, or a related field with minimum 5 years’ experience in project management related activities required.Prior Experience in Electrification or Manufacturing preferredKnowledge of Project Management disciplines and process.Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and knowledge in power systems and protection-related matters.Must be familiar and have practical experience with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, SAP and other applicable software.Experience in dealing with the cultural diversity of a global business environment.Strong interpersonal skills.Must be self-motivated with a high level of creativity.Travel is approximately 5%.Adept problem-solving skills.Ability to collaborate with multiple departments and work teams.Manufacturing plant environment sometimes requiring extended periods of sitting and extensive use of a computer or phone.
