•Supports daily Restaurant Host Stand/Cashier Operations with a knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful attitude to all walk-in guests and team members. Exudes pride and passion for the Dee’s Vegan To-Go Brand and Culture. Assisting in all areas of Host Stand/Cashier Operations to help ensure a high quality guest experience •Greet all guests at all points of contact with a warm, genuine, friendly manner •Communicate to (Manager on Duty) M.O.D. any issues that team members may have •Restaurant/Point of Sales (POS) system knowledge.•Ability to handle multiple tasks/issues at one time effectively, with an upbeat attitude •Read guests in order to anticipate their requests and turn potentially negative situations into positive ones •Communicate well with team members and managers and foster an atmosphere of unity and camaraderie •Handle delegation and follow up with team members on a daily basis •Reasoning Ability: Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Must be able to follow instructions •This position will be responsible for completing sales to customers including taking money in payment of sales, counting appropriate change, appropriate handling of cash payments, explaining menu items, and appropriate accounting for cash, credit, and using POS systems. •Cashier responsibilities •Reliable and Dependable a MUST!•Must be a minimum of 18 years of age •Must be able to read and write in English and have good verbal communicating skills •Basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, fractions, decimals, percentages etc.•Ability to effectively deal with customer complaints and concerns in a friendly and positive manner. This involves listening to the nature of the concern, demonstrating empathy with the customer and providing positive and proactive solutions.•Ability to interact with all guests in a professional manner •Must have strong customer service and communication skills •Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance •Answer the phone in accordance with standards•High school diploma •Minimum 1-year experience in Restaurant/Hostess training •Ability to multi-task and self-motivate during slow periods •Knowledge of proper etiquette Menu knowledge
