What will you be doing:

The Specialist in Data Management is responsible for ensuring data integrity of the data set for Quality Advisor and/or the integrity of Quality Measure data for hospital reporting and submission for our members to meet their national regulatory requirements.

The primary function of this role is to develop and implement quality assurance standards for data methodologies, schema changes, process changes, and new data streams; perform intermediate to advanced SQL queries, run/troubleshoot python scripts, data analysis to assist in data mining, assist in the investigation and resolution of data quality issues as well as supporting the Operations teams and external customers data extraction requests.

Responsibilities include executing quality assurance plans, proactively communicating status for projects/processes, translating custom requests into actionable requirements, serving as knowledge source for data management functions, mentorship of other Data Management employees, and performing data mining for internal/external clients.

This position works in collaboration with members of Operations, Clinical Team, Member Field Services, and IT Development to learn and implement new processes and resolve issues.
