We are seeking a Conversion Optimization Specialist for Adaptive Health. In addition to being a member of the Marketing Group’s Analytics Group, the Conversion Optimization Specialist will also be responsible for planning, implementing, and reporting on all web optimization and conversion testing, A/B testing, and multivariate testing for all Adaptive Health sales funnels and websites.
Responsibilities:
- Owns assigned site/funnel performance and identifies opportunities to improve it, focusing on metrics such as conversion, revenue per page view, AOV, and subscription lifetime value, depending on the offering. Actively solicits such ideas from team members
- Prioritizes performance improvement ideas for testing based on criteria such as potential impact and ease/speed of implementation
- Plans, implements, and reports on assigned site A/B and multivariate testing to ensure we’re getting the most value out of our media-generated traffic and presenting our customers with a professional and seamless conversion process.
- Utilizes web optimization tools to monitor the on-site performance of active landing pages in order to point out potential friction points and areas for improvement.
- Communicates with the marketing team to have a clear understanding of various campaign performance, upcoming traffic expectations, and opportunities.
- Collaborates with our front-end and back-end dev teams on the implementation of tests as needed.
- Employs problem-solving skills to resolve any issues as they pertain to test development, deployment, and optimization.
- Leverages site testing knowledge to help the media/creative team identify opportunities for improving the quality of creative products and media buys encompassed in the campaign including email blasts, ad creative, and keywords used in online ads.
- Monitors quality as needed, ensuring our landing pages and customer experiences are professional looking and consistent.
- Ensures previous wins are carried over to new iterations and tested for additional media channels/brands
- Gains trust and consensus of teammates and works with the marketing team and other internal departments on testing strategy, campaign performance metrics, tracking, and results-oriented advertising plans.
- Offers ideas to enhance or streamline our internal processes.
Minimum qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience working in web optimization
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related discipline or equivalent experience.
- Experience with A/B and Multivariate Testing
- Ability to analyze website traffic data and provide recommendations and act on results
- Advanced Excel skills – pivots, vlookups/index match
- Experience using Split Testing Services (E.g. Visual Website Optimize, Optimizely, or any similar alternatives)
- Experience in analytics (preferably Google Analytics)
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Monday.com, or Asana
- Proven ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven environment
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Effective and creative problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Experience working in an internet/eCommerce environment
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Proactive self-starter
Preferred qualifications:
- Comfortably able to sift through big data and glean insights from it
- Demonstrated knowledge of digital media platforms (e.g Facebook, Google Display, etc.)
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with Google Tag Manager
- Experience with financial modeling and cohort analysis
- Working knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including solid proofing skills
- Ability to clearly explain their position and logically/respectfully push back when needed
- Collaborative and focused on solving problems
- Direct Response Marketing background is a plus
