Audit is a provider of independent, objective assurance services delivered through a highly competent and diverse team. As a business partner, Audit helps the company accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.

What the Program Offers

The Audit Summer Internship Program is a professional development program that provides participants with a ten-week overview of Wells Fargo and a high-level understanding of the company’s operations, business strategies, and corporate culture. The internship experience includes relationship building, relevant work assignments, coaching, performance feedback sessions, group projects, and informative learning sessions with key leaders. It is designed to provide undergraduate students with a blend of business and professional development training opportunities that incorporates real-world experiences and prepares you for a career at Wells Fargo. The internship program is a pipeline program in which successfully performing interns may receive an offer to return the following year for the full-time associate program.

As an Audit Intern you will:

  • Learn the fundamentals of financial services, auditing, and risk analysis in both classroom and on-the-job training
  • Take part in a range of audit and risk advisory projects that will expose you to various Wells Fargo businesses
  • Gain insight into the complex world of risk management through exposure to a variety of audit projects ranging from regulatory compliance to information technology
  • Interface with various levels of business management and employees
  • Benefit from a strong learning curriculum and ongoing professional development offerings that underscore a strong commitment to continuous learning
  • Receive continual feedback, coaching, and mentoring during the program

Program Duration: June-August 2022

  • Bachelor’s degree candidate with an expected graduation in December 2022 – May/June 2023 or December 2023 – May/June 2024
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Interest in the financial services industry
  • Strong organizational and prioritizing skills
  • BS/BA degree candidate degree with a concentration in: Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance or Information Systems
