About Corporate Trust Services (CTS)
Wholesale Corporate Trust Services Technology team is part of EIT. Corporate Trust Services (CTS) provides trustee, agency and fiduciary services by focusing on protecting investors’ interest on shareholder transactions as well as all types of issuances including municipal debt, conduit debt, investment-grade, high-yield, asset-backed and mortgage backed securities.  For over 30 years Wells Fargo Corporate Trust Services has provided specialized services and solutions and we pride ourselves on our relationship-based service delivery model, which combines experienced staff and advanced technologies. 

Wells Fargo recently announced their intent to sell the Corporate Trust Services (CTS) business to Computershare, a global specialized financial services company.   The sale was announced in late March 2021 and is expected to close in the second half of 2021.  We are continuing to recruit for all open positions supporting CTS, but want to ensure you are aware that this position, along with around 2000 others, will transfer to Computershare when the sale closes. About Software Engineer
This Software Engineer will be responsible for analysis, development, support and maintenance of internally developed application solutions. Qualified candidates will have a strong leadership presence, solid technical background, experience consulting on business solutions as well as create and maintain solid relationships with business and technology partners.

The position will:
Act as a lead in providing application design guidance and consultation, utilizing a thorough understanding of applicable Technology, tools and existing designs. 
Analyzes highly complex business requirements, designs and writes technical specifications to design or redesign complex computer platforms and applications. 
Acts as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts. 
Verifies program logic by overseeing the preparation of test data, testing and debugging of programs. 
Oversees overall systems testing and the migration of platforms and applications to production.
Develops new documentation, departmental technical procedures and user guides. 
Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and oversees creation of or updates to and testing of the business continuation plan.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of J2EE experience
  • 3+ years of software engineering experience

  • A BS/BA degree or higher in information technology
  • SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience
  • 1+ year of Agile experience
  • 1+ year of Groovy experience
  • 1+ year of Hibernate experience
  • 1+ year of MS SQL server experience
  • 1+ year of Oracle experience
  • 1+ year of PL/SQL experience
  • 1+ year of RESTful or SOAP web services
  • 1+ year of Spring experience
  • 1+ year of SQL experience
  • Git or GitHub experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of public and private cloud integration with AWS, IAAS, Asure or Google
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • An industry-standard technology certification

Other Desired Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience with Spring, Spring Batch, and Spring Boot
• 1+ year(s) experience in any of the following front end technologies: JavaScript, JSON, NPM,  CSS, JQuery, Ajax, REACT and HTML 5
• 1+ year(s) experience in unit testing using any one of the following testing frameworks:  Groovy, GMock, JUnit, Mockito, EasyMock, JMock, Spock
• 1+ years(s) experience in Test Automation using Java/Selenium
• DevOps experience using Github, Jenkins, AzureDevOps, GitLab etc
• An industry-standard technology certification
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Knowledge and understanding of test driven application development
• Knowledge and understanding of monitoring the development of security vulnerabilities, threats, exposures, associated risk, and mitigating solutions
• Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision in a structured environment
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements
• Knowledge and understanding of mobile software security vulnerabilities such as the OWASP Top 10 Mobile Risks
