The Honeywell AMI Smart Energy Team islooking for a data scientist with a passion for Analytics, Business and CloudIntelligence (ABCI). As a Honeywell data scientist, you will use prescriptive, predictive,and preventative modeling and statistical analysis techniques to help improveHoneywell’s world-class AMI solutions.

Responsibilities:
Maintain Honeywell’s Enhanced Services Platform to enable the technical support team in discovery monitoring and issue resolution
Engage with other teams to find opportunities, understand requirements, and translate those requirements into technical solutions
Model and develop periodic status and issue reports
Develop and maintain ad hoc reports and dashboards as needed
Collaborate with fellow data engineers and platform architects to implement robust production real-time and batch decisioning solutions
Ensure operational and business metric health by monitoring or automation of production decision points
YOU MUST HAVE
BA/BS in Engineering / Computing Science / Data Science related or equivalent experience (3+ in Data Analytics related roles)
Practical experience with and theoretical understanding of algorithms for classification, regression, clustering, and anomaly detection
Working knowledge of relational databases, including SQL, and large-scale distributed systems such as Apache Spark
Ability to implement data science pipelines and applications in a general programming language such as Python or Java
Ability to extract meaningful business insights from data and identify the stories behind the patterns
Excellent presentation skills, distilling complex analysis and concepts into concise business-focused takeaways
Creativity to engineer novel features and signals beyond current tools and approaches
WE VALUE
Experience in Power BI experience
Advanced Excel (Data bases and Macros)
Experience with electricity, gas, water metering and/or electric utilities.
Experience with Oracle databases or Microsoft SQL Server
