An hospital in North Carolina is actively seeking a permanent Inpatient Acute Care Nursing Educator to join their team. 

The Nurse Educator Inpatient Acute Care will work for a fully accredited acute care hospital known for offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient specialities within their 200+ bed community medical center. This full-service regional hospital primarily services people from the north central areas of North Carolina and the Southside of Virginia. The Nurse Educator Inpatient Acute Care will provide clinical education to the new hires and current department staff. Reporting to the Director of Professional Development, the Nurse Educator will provide education to new-hire and current nurses working throughout the inpatient acute care units of the hospital. Responsibilities of the Inpatient Acute Care Nursing Educator include coordinating the on-boarding and new hire orientation for all inpatient, acute care employees working on the medical surgical units. The Nurse Educator Inpatient Acute Care will ensure compliance, patient safety, and quality care is consistently delivered through promoting a  team oriented, positive, patient-centered environment.

With state-of-the-art equipment throughout the hospital, the Inpatient Acute Care Nursing Educator will be up-to-date utilizing advanced technology and evidence based practice. The Inpatient Nurse Educator should also be familiar with using electronic medical records EMR, creating educational curriculum and programs, presenting, and mentoring teams. Additionally, the Hospital Nurse Educator will have a recent clinical background working in an acute care setting, prior preceptor or Nurse Educator experience, hold their Registered Nurse License, and ideally hold their MSN.
