Job Details

We are looking to hire a Board-Certified Family Practice OR Internal Medicine Physician with active North Carolina MD license in good standing who comes with at least 3 years Provider experience and current DEA Certificate, DOT Certification as well as · BLS, PALS and ACLS certification.
Physician MUST have experience in Value Based care or willingness to learn and embrace this model of care under Accountable Care organizations
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday – Thursday 8 AM to 6 PM, No nights, No weekends

  • Conducts physical exams, assesses health status, orders and interprets tests, prescribes medications, and treats illnesses including giving injections, reading X-Rays, and suturing wounds.
  • Monitors therapies and provides continuity of care
  • Triages patient calls and evaluates patient problems.
  • Responds to emergencies including use of CPR.
  • Documents patient information and care in medical record in a timely manner.
  • Oversee clinic staff to ensure appropriate care, operational effectiveness, and patient satisfaction
  • Collaborate across the organization with administrative staff and Clinical leadership
  • May be responsible for supervision of Mid-Level providers
  • Conduct Annual Wellness Visits as directed by the Quality department, ensuring that Med First meets metrics as assigned by ACO – Aledade.
  • As part of the Company’s Quality-focused ACO, he /she will be responsible for monitoring patient quality gaps, annual prevention and wellness, chronic care management, medication management, risk management and continuity of care.
  • Directs and coordinates the patient care activities of Medical Assistants and Front Desk staff at the clinic ensuring smooth operations of the practice
  • Sits on the Company’s Physician Advisory Committee
