Calling all Emergency Department Nurse Leaders! An exciting opportunity working as an Emergency Services Nursing Director is readily available in North Carolina. 

The Emergency Services Nursing Clinical RN Director will be employed by a national healthcare system, working at a community hospital in North Carolina. The Nurse Director Emergency Services will work at a 300-bed acute care hospital known for an array of services including their Emergency Department, Cancer Care, Women’s Pavilion, and Surgical team. 

The Emergency Services Nurse Director will oversee the ED that is open 24/7, 365 days per year. The ED is staffed with specialized emergency physicians, nurses, and staff who are all trained in emergency care. This hospital is stroke certified, and is recognized by the ACC Accreditation Services arm of American College of Cardiology for their Chest Pain Center accreditation. Responsibilities of the Emergency Department Nurse Director include managing department workflow, overall and day-to-day operations, department staffing, managing the budget, maintaining hospital, local, state and federal compliance, updating policy procedures, implementing quality performance improvement initiatives, staff education, cross collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ultimately being the department mentor, leader and resource. 

The hospital is located just east of Raleigh North Carolina, and about two hours from the North carolina Coast.
