Assistant Nurse Manager NICU

A hospital in North Carolina is actively seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager NICU to join their team. This is a full-time position working for a top-ranked health system. 


An opportunity to work for a renowned health system in North Carolina doesn’t come around often. This health system is known for the acute care hospitals, clinics, outpatient programs, ongoing research, and speciality practices, throughout the state. The Assistant Nurse Manager NICU will work for a 600+ bed, Magnet designated hospital known for their women and children services, surgical program, emergency services, rehabilitation, and behavioral health services. 


The Assistant Nurse Manager NICU will join the large Women and Children Services department, which has over 4,000 annual births. The Assistant Nurse Manager NICU will primarily be responsible for the 40+ bed Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Responsibilities of the Assistant Nurse Manager NICU include staff scheduling, evaluations, payroll, updating policy procedure, and ensuring regulatory compliance across the unit. The Assistant Nurse Manager NICU will be a visible leader who is excited to lead, mentor, and educate a team of specialized nurses, new grads, technicians, and ancillary staff. 

Ideally the Assistant Nurse Manager NICU will be a registered nurse with previous clinical experience working in a Level 3 NICU. Additionally, the Assistant Nurse Manager NICU should have charge nurse, supervisor, or assistant nurse experience within an inpatient hospital setting.
