We are looking for passionate, driven individuals to join our team focused on Delivering Solutions and Improving Lives.Responsibilities:NV5 is seeking an entry level Engineering Geologist and Construction Materials Project Manager for our Raleigh, NC location.

Responsibilities will include managing environmental, geotechnical, and construction materials testing projects.

Services to our clients for this position will include:Discussion of the scope of work with the client, preparation of proposals, coordination of field and laboratory services.Performance of soil test borings, soil and groundwater sampling, and construction testing services.Peformance of environmental and geotechnical analyses, preparation of subsurface investigation and environmental assessment reports, and management of construction materials testing projects.Qualifications:Prerequisites for employment include:Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or closely related fieldGIT registration, or eligibility to attain same within 6 monthsUp to 2 years of relevant experience preferred, but not required.Working knowledge of computer software, including word processing and industry-specific environmental and geotechnical software.Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.Valid driver’s license with acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)Work Environment and Physical DemandsThe characteristics described below are representative of those encountered while performing the essential functions of this position.
